I have tickets for the Asylum Haunted Attraction, do I have to pay for Western Playland admission to enter?
NO you do not IF you plan on visiting the Asylum on dates or times Western playland is closed. See our haunt dates page.

What if I want to go to Asylum Haunted Attraction during Western Playland's operating hours?
You can still visit The Asylum, Western Playland does have their own general admission fee of $8.99 to enter park. This is solely to enter park and does not give wristbands for Western Playlands rides. We highly suggest making it a fun day at Western Playland and visiting us after dark!
Does my Western Playland admission ticket or season pass allow entry into Asylum Haunted attraction?
NO. The Asylum Haunted attraction is a separate production and a separate area of the Western Playland Amusement Park.

I bought tickets to The Asylum Haunted attraction at Western Playland, do the Asylum tickets allow access to Western Playland's rides and games?
​
NO. The Asylum Haunted attraction tickets are solely intended for entry into the Haunt attraction. If you arrive during Western Playland's hours of operations a general admission ticket to Western Playland is required in addition to your tickets for the Asylum Haunted attraction. Must show proof of purchase and/or Asylum wristbands to enter Haunt areas. See Haunt Dates page for dates and times.

CAN WE TAKE PICTURES/VIDEOS
Photography and video of any kind is strictly prohibited.

WILL ACTORS/PERFORMERS TOUCH US

No. Actors/performers will not touch you, however, part of your experience will include actor/performer jump scares. As attraction takes place in a dark setting with some small pathways, incidental contact may occur. Any guest that touches or assaults a cast member will result in the stoppage of experince and will be removed and handed to EPPD working on site at The Asylum.

DO WE HAVE TO WEAR FACE COVERING

To date face masks are not required. You are more than welcome to wear a mask if you'd like.

ARE RESTROOMS AVAILABLE

IS SMOKING ALLOWED

There is absolutely no smoking or vaping of any kind inside The Asylum. Outside Asylum doors, local guidelines and policies of venue apply

IS THERE AN AGE REQUIREMENT
​
There is no age requirement, HOWEVER. due to some gore, scares and graphic content, it is recommended for visitors 13 and up. As a parent or guardian it is up to your discretion.

HOW DO I GET MY TICKETS AFTER I ORDER ONLINE

Once you make your purchase online, your online order # will allow you to check in and receive your wristbands for entrance. TICKETS ARE NOT SHIPPED OR MAILED. Your name and order # will be looked up for entry.

Can I purchase tickets at the door

Yes, tickets can be purchased at the door. However, we do recommend you purchase tickets online for the busiest nights.

Can I get a refund if I cant make it
​
No, Unfortunately REFUNDS ARE NOT ALLOWED.

WILL STAFF ESCORT GUESTS
​
Yes a staff/security member will escort group through haunt. If you become separated or need to be separated a staff member will direct you where to go.
